Every journey is composed for a single party. There are no fixed departures, no shared coaches and no off-the-shelf itineraries. We design privately around your interests, pace and timing, and we accompany you with the country's leading archaeologists, curators and local hosts.

How far in advance should we begin planning?

For peak seasons (April–June and September–October) we recommend beginning the conversation four to six months ahead. Privately guided visits — such as Karahantepe — and certain residences book early. We can occasionally accommodate shorter notice; please write to us and we will be candid about what is possible.

What does an expedition typically include?

Private chauffeured transfers, hand-selected residences and cave suites, daily breakfasts and curated dining, privately guided visits with lead archaeologists and curators, all site entrances and visitor arrangements, domestic flights between regions and 24/7 on-call concierge. International flights, visas and personal expenses are not included.

Yes. As part of our long-standing relationship with the excavation teams and the Ministry of Culture, we arrange privately guided visits to Karahantepe alongside Göbeklitepe whenever the dig season allows.

The regions we travel — Gaziantep, Şanlıurfa, Mardin, Cappadocia, Istanbul — are well-established cultural destinations with regular international visitation. We monitor conditions continuously and have local teams on the ground in each city.

Most expeditions involve gentle to moderate walking on uneven ground at archaeological sites, and occasional early starts to reach sites at first light. We tailor pace, distances and rest days entirely to your party.

Of course. Our chefs and partner residences routinely cater for vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, halal, kosher and allergy-driven menus. We confirm requirements in writing during planning.

Once an itinerary is confirmed, a deposit secures dates and reservations, with the balance due before departure. We accept international wire transfer; specific terms are set out in your written proposal.
